Other investment programs: IMP, Provincial Investment

Part of International Mobility Program (IMP) helps businesses move to Canada or open a branch in Canada and send their employees to Canada which requires investment. Provinces' business immigration programs are also interesting and are under PNP (Provincial Nominee Program). Every province has its own specific criteria to select the applicants. It's based on point system which gives scores to the applicants. Self-employed Persons Class is another subclass under business immigration which assists artists/cultural activities, athletics, and purchase and management of a farm.
Applying under these programs, requires knowledge and expertise beyond law to launch a successful application.

Skilled Workers- Express Entry

Express Entry is a management system for foreign nationals who wish to apply for permanent residency through Skilled Workers in one of the sub-classes: FSW, FST, CEC, PNP. It's aimed for fast entry to Canada for skilled workers. It has a point (CRS) system to give scores to the applicants.
It is often hard for the applicants outside Canada to immigrate under this sub-classes as they have to compete with the applicants residing in Canada. A job offer plays an important role for applicants from outside Canada to be selected in the express entry pool.
For a lawyer or RCIC who works in this area, it requires specialty beyond the IRPA knowledge. We have the specialty and experience to give you consultation before applying, which in turn, saves you time and budget.
